My Past Rides

Like most people I have gone through a lot of cars. Though rides come and go, here are the ones I've enjoyed the most and I think are worth mentioning.

Truly my first set of wheels! - Circa 1963

My Mom used to cruise me around the Fort Greene projects of Brooklyn in this puppy! What cool ride!

1969 Chevy Impala (Landau) - My first ride!

I think I am most fond of this car because of the memories that I have of it. I did some serious hanging out in this baby! To this day my old friends and I still talk about the things we did with this car. It was an awesome time in my life!

Believe it or not - but this car was fitted with a 250 cid in-line Chevy six-cylinder with a power glide transmission. My uncle Robert replaced the original 396 cid motor. You should of seen the looks I would get when I used to pop the hood on it.

1966 Ford Thunderbird, 390 cid V8 4bbl

My wife and I took this picture about 1982. The building in the background is the church we were married in. Check out the crazy "Daisy Duke" shorts I'm sportin'!

The 66 T-Bird was the most expense production vehicle Ford had produced to date. It had a chromed out cockpit interior that was hard to beat, the steering wheel moved out of the way in order to facilitate getting in and out of the car, and so much more.

This was a gorgeous car, I wish I still had it!

1987 Toyota 4 Runner - This was one cool little truck!

This is actually the first new car my wife ever purchased. It cost us about $15,000. It had a removable fiberglass top that made this truck a lot of fun to drive. It was a very under powered though. The four cylinder it came with was a great motor but it would struggle going up steep grades.
